Light Cleanse
The Light Cleanse is a cleansing
program that a close friend of mine Howard Krouk and I co-created. It is a raw
living version of the Master Cleanse, that is constantly being revised for optimal health.

~ When preparing for this cleanse, it
is HIGHLY suggested to eat 100% raw living vegan diet, and drink lots of structured
water and fresh juice for 3-4 days prior, to get your body ready for the cleanse. It is
also suggested to do a colonic before, during and after your cleanse. If colonic is not
possible, than do enemas as often as possible, even daily.
FOR HOW LONG AND HOW
OFTEN?
~ It is suggested to follow the cleanse for a
minimum of 10 days and up to 40 days. It's best to do the cleanse annualy. It
will do wonders for your body.
Light Cleanse Recipe
~ Do your best to drink at least 8 of the below servings per
day (You can make it all at once in morning)
1 SERVING
~ 12 OZ. Water (structured,
spring or filtered water)
~ 2 1/2 T Organic Lemon Juice for Digestion
~ 2 T of Raw Cane Juice, Yacon Syrup or Coconut Syrup (www.coconutsecret.com)
*If you have candida problems, leave out cane juice or
yacon syrup
~ 1-2 pinches Cayenne Pepper (More if desired) Aids in Assimilation and Elimination
~ 1/8 t. Wheat Grass powder for Phytonutrients, Enzymes, Carotenoids, Folic Acid & Iron
~ 1 pinch Pink (Himalayan),
Celtic or Sea salt for Trace Minerals
~ 1/4 t. Goji Extract (optional) for Beto Carotene, Polysaccarides, Zinc and Amino Acids
~ 1/8 t. Maca Powder (optional) an Adaptogenic Root for Stress, Energy & Hormone Health
~ 1/8 t. Tocotrenials (optional) for Lowering Cholesterol Levels & Vitamin E
~ 1/8 t. Mesquite Powder (optional) for Lysene, Calcium, Magnesium & Potassium
~ 1/8 t. Mangosteen Extract (optional) for Anti-Inflammatory & Anti-Allergy
~ 1/8 t. Camu Camu (optional) for Vitamin C, Phytochemicals & Aminos
1/8 t. Purple Corn Extract (optional) for Phenolics, Anthocyanins & Hightest Antioxident
MIX WELL OR BLEND
RECIPE
***ADD TO YOUR DAY***
~ Drink 4-6 8 Oz C good water (structured, spring or filtered) per day
~ Drink 2 OZ fresh wheatgrass (optional)
~ Drink 1-2 fresh coconuts per day (optional)
~ Drink Green Vegetable juice such as Kale, Celery, Cucumbers, Dandelion Greens,
Collard, Etc.
~ Make raw vegetable soup broths. You can make in high powered blender
and then strain out pulp with cheesecloth or strainer than put back in blender,
add spices, good salt and blend until warm. This helps with warm food cravings.
(optional)
~ It is suggested that if you feel like you have to eat anything during
your cleanse, instead of breaking it completely, eat raw soup, fruit smoothie
or raw pudding. This is not recommended,
but if you feel the urgency then this is better than completely breaking
cleanse. Ultimately, listening to your body is most important, add 2 days to liquid cleanse if so.
~ It is highly recommended to take 5-10 capsules of the most potent Multiple Digestive Enzymes you can find, once in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Natural Choice Products has the most potent, full spectrum, lowest acid/highest
alkaline, plant based and cheapest enzymes I’ve found. You can get multiple
digestive or Vitalase. Vitalase is 4 times more potent than Multiple Digestive
and is meant to be taken systemically (2 times a day in between meals, in this
case in between drinking).
~ Take an herbal laxative tea at night 2 hours
before bed, if your not having proper elimination.(optional)
~ It is suggested to do the Vitamin C or classic Aruyvedic Salt Water flush every morning, allowing 2 hrs to eliminate completely. (This is optional but
suggested)
Ayurvedic salt water flush recipe:
1 T Good Salt (Himalayan-pink, Celtic or sea)
2 Quarts Water (Structured, Spring or Filtered)
Vitamin C Flush Recipe:
2 T Asorbic Acid
1 Quart Water (Structured, Spring or Filtered)
Purpose of Cleanse:
To dissolve and eliminate
toxins and congestion that have formed in any part of the body.
What is a Vitamin C or Ayurvedic salt water flush?
They both are oral intestinal and colon cleanse. Ayurvedic is traditional (Indian).
Coming off Cleanse:
Following the last day of drinking the Light Cleanse recipe, it is
suggested to drink orange juice and coconut keifer for the first day. On second
day, add vegetable juices, raw soups and raw puddings. I
suggest to follow the raw living vegan diet for at least 3-5 days following end of
cleanse. You might want to consider continuing the raw living lifestyle for as long as possible, maybe even for the rest of your life. No matter what, always follow your heart and intuition because you are supposed to be exactly where you are.
